Date: Saturday, October 11, 2014
Location: Abe Martin Stadium on our High School Campus
Entry Fee: $50 per team (per division & per gender), or $150 (maximum) per school, or $10 per individual. Please make checks payable to Lufkin Cross Country and bring them with you ON race day J!!!!!!
Awards: Boys & Girls Team Champion & Runner-Up
1-15 Individual Awards for all Divisions
Divisions: Division I -4A & 5A Boys & Girls
Division II -1A & 3A Boys & Girls
JV Division -Boys & Girls (may enter unlimited #, top 5 score)
Jr. High Division -Boys & Girls (EXHIBITION RACE)-(there is no need to send these names)
Distances: JV & Varsity Boys & 4A-5A Varsity Girls: -5K
JV Girls & 1A-3A Varsity Girls: -2 miles
Jr. High Boys & Girls -1.5 miles
Time Schedule: 7:45am One Mile Fun Run (K-3), both boys & girls
8:05am One Mile Fun Run (4-6), both boys & girls
8:30am Jr. High Girls
8:45am Jr. High Boys
9:00am JV Girls
9:20am JV Boys
9:45am 1A-3A Varsity Girls
10:05am 1A-3A Varsity Boys
10:30am 4A-5A Varsity Girls
10:55am 4A-5A Varsity Boys
(Medals will be given at the finish line & team plaques will be given at the conclusion of the meet)
Refreshments: Concessions will be available & T-Shirts will be sold for $15
Please list your runners on the attached sheet & return via fax (936) 634-1091 or email your entries to rstover@lufkinisd.org no later than Friday, October 3rd. You do NOT need to designate which division (varsity or jv) each runner will race in, but it is imperative that you list all POTENTIAL runners. Scratches can be made the day of the race, but no additions will be allowed.
